Mike Ligas, Sr. — President
Mike Ligas started Merlin Manufacturing, which gets its name from his hometown of Barberton, Ohio — known as the Magic City. With 35 years of experience, Mike is respected as a leader and innovator in the industry. He is known for his sense of humor and interest in new ideas. Mike says he still loves his job and his business — especially meeting with clients to understand their needs. When not working, you can find Mike spending time with his family and dog Sailor. He also enjoys sailing and riding his motorcycle.
Ben Ligas — Vice President
Ben Ligas helped Mike start the company in 1988. Including related industries, he has over 25 years of experience. With an engineering degree and background, Ben is in charge of new product development at Merlin. He is also an account manager, and is recognized for the creative solutions he develops for Merlin’s clients. Outside of Merlin, Ben has many hobbies including scuba diving, camping, hunting and photography. He is involved in several ministries at his church. Ben enjoys spending time with his family, and he’s been active in Boy Scouts of America for 16 years.
