Chris Mlinaric — Chief of Staff

As Chief of Staff, Chris is responsible for implementing strategic initiatives and special projects. She also manages a variety of office and personnel projects to keep day-to-day business running smoothly at Merlin. With Merlin's recent groundbreaking on a new facility, Chris is involved in many activites related to the new corporate headquarters. She also is in charge of recruiting new Merlin associates. Chris enjoys the unique opportunities she has at Merlin. Outside of work, Chris likes camping, concerts, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Karen Ligas Bechdel — Accounting

Karen is responsible for Merlin’s accounting functions, including accounts receivable and accounts payable. She is also the manager of Merlin’s credit department. Karen has nine years of service with Merlin. The aspects she likes most about her job are paying attention to detail, resolving issues and working closely with our customers so that our accounting practices continue at the highest standard. When not at work, Karen enjoys spending time with family… especially her four children and six grandchildren. She's also proud to be a great aunt. A perfect day is having her family together for a home cooked meal and one of her famous cakes. She also likes to watch classic, old movies.

Jessica Kelley — Accounting Assistant

Jessica joined the Merlin team in August 2005. She is responsible for maintaining vendor invoices and Accounts Payable entries, as well as processing customer credit applications and assisting with Accounts Receivable. Outside of Merlin, Jessica enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her nephew Ian.

Laura Struckel — Purchasing/Order Entry

Laura wears many hats at Merlin.  In addition to her organizational and administrative responsibilities, she is also involved in order entry, purchasing and programming of our phone system.  Laura joined the company in October 2003.  She loves the variety, challenges and demands of her job.  After work, Laura hurries home to be with her little boy.

Jean Ligas — Receptionist

Jean is responsible for order entry, as well as purchasing and billing for hotels. Jean is also usually the person to answer the phone when you call Merlin. She has been with Merlin four years. Jean also enjoys talking with our customers and helping them when they call. When she’s not working, Jean enjoys spending time with her family—watching movies at home, grilling out, and going for long walks. She also likes getting away from it all by going shopping and out to eat, or taking motorcycle rides.
