Michael Ligas, Jr. — Business Advisor

Michael has been involved in the family business for most of his life. While eearning his MBA at the Kellogg School of Management, Michael is also a business advisor to Merlin. His previous work experience includes the FBI, Price Waterhouse, Arthur Andersen, and Wachovia Bank. Michael is appreciated for his business intelligence and work ethic. He enjoys the variety of this work and the ability to drive change. Outside of business school and Merlin, Michael likes spending time with his family, hiking and winetasting.

Jason Arnold — Purchasing/Material Manager

Jason came to Merlin in December 2005, bringing 15+ years experience in Purchasing / Materials Management from other areas of operation. He says he joined the team because Merlin employees are a great group of people who strive for continuous process improvements. Aside from Merlin, Jason enjoys playing and coaching soccer, playing board games and reading with his 4 children.

Christa Schmidt — Quoting Manager

Christa has been with the company since January 2004. Her responsibilities include working with Merlin vendors to receive custome quotes on specialty products, while maintaining standard product and pricing information. Christa also prepares quotes for our customers. She enjoys the relationships she has with customers, vendors and fellow associates. In her free time, Christa likes to travel, coach soccer and spend time with her family and friends.
