Do...

• Include suppliers in early design discussions to create a successful program and save money.
• If you are having fabric sent to Merlin, do share Merlin's guidelines for COM fabric with your fabric supplier.
• Leverage technology. There are new products being introduced that can increase property value, as well as cut housekeeping and maintenance costs.

Don't...

• Introduce a new bedding program without considering housekeeping implications.
• Use faux wood blinds in hot climates. (They warp.)
• Forget to put ADA drapery batons in your rooms for guests with disabilities.
